Hello and welcome to your first step into club rego

What is club rego?

vehicles over 30 years old can enter a limited-use registration

using a legitimate car club to enter this scheme saving you much money on cars you don't often use.

the required documents are supplied by the car club to give to Services NSW in order to enter or renew your vehicle.

this will allow you to drive your vehicle 60 times per year.

any events made by your club do not count as part of the 60 days.

Services NSW will give you historic or conditional licence plates a certificate log book that needs to be filled out once per drive day.

The Process Once a member of this club, we supply you with the documents completely filled out, then obtain your inspection slip go to Services, and register.

There are two different types of club rego:

HVS (Historic Vehicle Scheme)

CVS (Classic Vehicle Scheme)

What's the difference?

HVS:

Is strictly for vehicles that have not been modified and left as per factory specifications.

There are leways with exhaust, paint slightly altering height, and wheels of that era

if you're unsure contact us to help you further.

CVS:

Is for vehicles that have been altered or modified outside of factory specifications.

Modern wheels, stereo, upgraded brakes, and suspension can put you in this category the process has its differences in comparison to HVS which takes more time so renewal time is best not to delay.
